Nina: I’m exercising regularly even with a trainer so why would I gain weight instead of losing it?
Megan: Initially it’s important to consider diet because you can’t out exercise a poor diet. Furthermore, if your weight gain is only marginal your body does store more glycogen for exercise fuel, particularly for muscle use. There are so many possibilities such as hormones or bathroom use or even time of day of the weigh in. Stay focused on becoming healthier not necessarily what any scale says. I know it is easier said than done. But you’re better of that way.
