Kimie: I always hear eat 2000 calories a day, but isn’t that a lot??
Megan: Counting calories can be confusing because we all have different activity levels, ages, heights, and metabolism. Also your goal is a consideration. Losing weight and building muscle would be different calories needed. An easy tool is to find out what your BMR is meaning basal metabolic rate. This is how many calories your body burns just sitting then knowing that you can add or subtract based on your goal. A simple online search can’t you find a BMR calculator. You can’t ever know the EXACT number but you can get a ball park idea.
