Richie: Do eggs really cause high cholesterol??
Megan: Eating eggs is a great source of protein and the general rule is that 3 whole eggs per day is safe. Eggs do raise the good HDL cholesterol and for someleople even though they could raise bad LDL cholesterol it is not necessarily a cause for concern on a large scale level. Always talk to your doctor because you want to consider foods based on your own personal cholesterol levels. Remember it’s the yolks we are referring to so egg whites are not a concern at all.
