Steven: I can’t seem to not over-eat all the time. Whatever is on my plate or however much is in front of me, I’m always hungry enough to eat it all. How can I control this?

Megan: There’s a fine line between binge eating and just eating too much because you can. Strangely enough, sometimes we feel accomplished if we finish all our food because when we were kids we couldn’t leave the table until we were done, Portions are huge now, so knowing what is a single serving size isn’t clear. However, ask yourself if you are eating to a point that you are very uncomfortable, are you waiting to eat until you are starving, and are you using food when emotions are heightened to suppress them? Easier said than done but try eating small meals every 3 hours to keep your blood sugar stable.

If you have a question for Megan email her at everybodysfit@gmail.com and be sure to check out her website www.everybodysfitoceanside.com
