Jane: People say that doing tons and tons of crunches or abs doesn’t mean you are going ot have a 6-pack and it’s a waste of time. Is that true?
Megan: Doing abdominal exercises is beneficial but to see the muscles (6-pack) you have to shred and lose the layers covering them. You have your skin, your fat, and lastly your muscle. I’m sure you have heard this before, but “abs are made in the kitchen” because you need to lose the weight and fat first. Building your abs at the same time is good because your core is your center of gravity and helps with low back pain, balance, and even endurance. So don’t stop doing ab exercises but consider the changes needed to make them show.
