Chris: How many days are you supposed to work out a week?
Megan: That’s a good question and would vary by ability, age, type of working out, and goal or reason for exercising. In general your want to get at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity exercise in per week and at 2 days of resistance training. That can be broken up however you desire but those are the general health guidelines. I like to say 4 to 5 days per week with a mix of cardio and weights. Keep in mind it isn’t always about how many or how much versus the quality of what you are doing.
