Sacramento, CA –Marie Waldron State Assemblymember –As you may have heard, both San Diego and Riverside Counties in our 75th District have been cleared to move into a more advanced Stage 2 and even part of Stage 3 of California’s Resilience Roadmap to Recovery.

Late last week, dine-in restaurants and retail shops were permitted to reopen with some modifications and guidelines for safe operations to protect both employees and patrons.

On Monday, faith-based organizations resumed services under safety guidelines, and now, hair salons (not including nail salons) and barbershops have been approved to safely open with approved modifications.

It is very encouraging that our district has worked hard to meet the state’s regional health criteria which includes expanded testing, increased hospital capacity, and increased availability of protective equipment and supplies.

Let’s keep this momentum going!
