Vista, CA — City to Resume Enforcement of Street Sweeping Parking Violations
The City of Vista will resume enforcement for street sweeping parking violations beginning Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Street sweeping parking enforcement was temporarily suspended during the early months of the COVID-19 Stay at Home order.
As more businesses and activities open up in San Diego County, more residents are returning to work. Due to the additional parking on the streets, the street sweeping crews were not able to do as thorough of a job cleaning. This resulted in more litter, leaves and other debris on streets entering storm drains.
Moving vehicles on designated street sweeping maintenance days/hours will now ensure the city streets are clean and ready to support economic activity and will reduce pollution from entering the storm drains.
