The League of Women Voters encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Public entities frequently request the League as a non-partisan organization to supervise elections and public forums based on its 100-year history of providing non-partisan voter services and advocacy. The League, in addition to forums, explains ballot measures at its Pros and Cons events and provides written information on ballot measures at VotersEdge.org.  Interested parties may contact President Anne Omsted at 760-736-1608.
