Vista, CA — March and Ash believes it is important to invest in the local community, which is why they partnered with local food banks to host a three-week food drive to support families impacted by COVID-19.
From July 27th through August 16th, the San Diego-based cannabis dispensary, with locations in Mission Valley, Vista, and Imperial County, asked customers to donate non-perishable items, hoping to donate 200 pounds of food to both the San Diego Food Bank and the Imperial Valley Food Bank.
March and Ash ended up collecting just over two tons of food – 4,156 pounds total!
The Imperial Valley location collected a total of 1,364 lbs., while Vista and Mission Valley’s totals equaled 1,621 and 1,171 pounds, respectively.
Food donations were accepted both in-store and at curbside pickup, a service the dispensaries began offering in early March.
