TR Robertson — It is amazing what has occurred or what is occurring around us that makes up all the things that makes this world go round. What is behind everything can, many times, contain a wealth of trivial facts that we have no knowledge of and surprises us when we hear about these facts. Here is a few trivial, but fascinating bits and pieces of information about our world and the things in it. Have fun discovering new information, a lot of which will surprise you.

  • A strawberry is not an actual berry, but a banana is.
  • Hershey’s chocolate syrup, Ritz Crackers, Dum Dums and Oreos are all vegan.
  • The sound of a Star Wars lightsaber was created by pairing together the sound of an idle film projector and the buzz from an old TV set.
  • Your tonsils can grow back if there was tissue left behind during the removal process.
  • In Israel, there is a law making it illegal to bring bears to the beach.
  • There is an uninhabited island in the Bahamas known as Pig Beach, populated entirely by swimming pigs.

More in another list to amaze and amuse you later. It is extremely hard to believe some of these, but they are said to be factual and true. Our world is a strange and fun place, making for some very unusual discoveries.
