David Willauer — Former Mission Hills Grizzly Chris Olave 5 receptions for 43 yards scored 1 touchdown reception for 15 yards paced Ohio State to a 73-14 win over Maryland. 

Men’s Basketball–The Palomar Comets lost their 2nd game in a row as they were defeated by Long Beach Junior College by a 87-81 score.  For the Comets Noah Woodby led with 28 points, 17 by Anthony Brewer and 10 by Jacob Durham.

Mira Costa Spartans Men’s Basketball Team were defeated by Santiago College by a 73-66 score.  Dirck Helaire led with 21 points. Stone Parker 10 and Devyn Wakefield 12. 

Former San Marcos Knights alum Mikey Howell scored 2 points for the Tritons of University of California at San Diego as they were defeated by UC Irvine 80-64.

Former Vista Panthers alum Taurus Samuels scored 16 points for Dartmouth in their 68-63 win over Buffalo.

Former Army Navy alum Caleb Morris scored 2 points for the Air Force Academy in their 78-74 win over Texas State. 

Women Basketball

Ladies Basketball— The Palomar Comets Lady Basketball team won their 3rd game in a row as they competed in the MSJC Tournament.  On Thursday, November 7th they defeated Copper Mountain 99-34.  Dee Dee Valenzuela led the Lady Comets with 20 points, 16 by Gabby Sebit, 12 by Melinda Bland and 11 by Elexis Espina. 
In the championship round on Friday, November 8th the Lady Comets of Palomar defeated host Mount San Jacinto 82-64 and won the San Jacinto Lions Tipoff Classic. Nikki Mayoral led with 19 points, Imari Cooley and Aaliyah Taylor 11 points each.

At the West LA College Basketball Tournament the Lady Spartans of Mira Costa defeated Oxnard College by a 93-50 score.  Chynna Cochran 20 points, Kiva Reeve 17 points, Julie Inman 16, 14 by Chastity Taele Pao Pao, Savannah Beasley with 11, The Lady Spartans will play West LA in the championship round on Saturday at 7 PM.

Former Mission HIlls alum Kayla Rooks scored 3 points for the Washington Huskies as they defeated Cal State Bakersfield by a 80-49 score.
