SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres announced details today surrounding Spring Training home games at the Peoria Sports Complex including ticketing information and updated safety protocols.

In accordance with local, state and Major League Baseball COVID-19 protocols, the Peoria Sports Complex will operate at 16% capacity allowing for 1,960 fans in the ballpark, which typically holds 12,518. Tickets will be available to purchase in pods of two seats, three seats, four seats and individual seats in the seating bowl with berm seating in the outfield lawn area available in pods of two, four or six.  Padres season ticket members will have access to a special presale on Tuesday, February 23 beginning at 9:00 a.m. PST before single-game tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, February 24 at 8:00 a.m. PST/9:00 a.m. MT at www.padres.com/springtraining.

Fans attending games at the Peoria Sports Complex will be asked to adhere to health and safety guidelines including guests over the age of two being required to wear masks at all times (except when actively eating or drinking in assigned seats), practicing social distancing within the Peoria Sports Complex, and limiting movement within the ballpark. All food, beverage and merchandise transactions will be cashless to reduce touch points. Additionally, autographs will not be permitted, and bags will not be allowed in an effort to expedite the entry process. Also, games may be shortened from nine innings to seven or five innings if mutually agreed upon by both managers. More information on health and safety guidelines is available at www.peoriasportscomplex.com.

The Padres will open their Cactus League Schedule on Sunday, February 28 against the Seattle Mariners. In total, the Padres will serve as the home team for 14 games at the Peoria Sports Complex including weekend divisional matchups against the San Francisco Giants on Friday, March 5, the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, March 13 and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Saturday, March 20.
