Reward Increase Explosion Case – Vista

People urged to come forward with information.

A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible behind several explosions in Vista. 

San Diego County Crime Stoppers routinely offers a $1,000 reward on felony cases. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) provided an additional $4,000. 

Remember, you can remain anonymous. Call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477 or visit sdcrimestoppers.org for information on how to send web or mobile app tips. 

Deputies with the Vista Sheriff’s Station responded to three incidents of explosions on Wednesday, May 4. No one was hurt and no property was damaged. The Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Unit in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and ATF are investigating. 

If you see a device that seems suspicious or out of place in your neighborhood, do not touch, move or pick it up. Call 9-1-1 immediately.
