RX Take Back Day Saturday, October 24th | 10 am – 2 pm TCMC will be collecting unused prescription drugs in the parking lot of the medical center on October 24th from 10 am to 2 pm in an effort to limit access to harmful medications in our community.
We are proud to partner with the Rx Abuse Task Force of San Diego County, North Coastal Prevention Coalition, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Oceanside Police Department.
Psychiatric Health Facility Update
TCMC continues to work with the County of San Diego and is well into the development phase for the new 16-bed, adult, inpatient psychiatric health facility that is planned for the medical center’s Oceanside campus.
It is expected that the development plan will be sent to the state Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) in the next 30-60 days. If approved on schedule, we expect construction to begin in 2021 with completion in calendar year 2022.
