Vista, CA— Vista Community Clinic (VCC) is expanding its flu clinics to meet the increasing demand in the community for protection from the flu, especially for children. On Saturday, December 19th, the clinic will host a free flu clinic for all those under 18 years of age from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm in the parking garage of the clinic’s Vale Terrace location at 1000 Vale Terrace in Vista.
Flu shots will be administered in a safe space set up in the parking garage exclusively for vaccination use. Appointments will be required and can be made by calling or texting the clinic’s main line at 844-308-5003. To keep social distancing and decrease exposure, appointment holders are being asked to stay in their car; clinic representatives will call to confirm the patients are present and ready to get their flu shot. Personal protective equipment is required for patients, staff, and visitors. Both current VCC patients and non-patients are welcome to attend.
The flu vaccine will be free for all VCC patients and non-patients, 18 and under.
Community residents can stay updated by following VCC on social media (@VistaCommunityClinic) or by checking the clinic’s website at www.vcc.org.
