VVBA has been presented plans from the City of Vista to upgrade lighting in the  Downtown area.  Thank you to John Conley, Kevin Ham, and Michael Luna for their attendance at this week’s VVBA Board Meeting, and for sharing these amazing plans.  The City’s plans are approved and have the support of the VVBA.  The City is awaiting funding of the project and hoping to begin the upgrades in the Fall.

Please note details of the plans can be gathered by emailing Michael Luna at the City, or contacting the VVBA office.  The Project Manager has recently completed the Paseo Santa Fe Veteran’s Park.  We have been told the brightness and style of lighting will echo the style of lighting in the park area.  As a timetable for upgrades  is created, the VVBA will be working with the City to assure impacts to local businesses
are kept to a minimum.
Thank you to the city for implementing these upgrades,  and to all of you for your patience during this process!
