A New Production from our friends at Diversionary Theatre!

We are grateful for our friends at Diversionary who share in our desire to tell powerful, provocative stories that reflect our diverse communities. Check this free audio play, now through November 26th!

Clarkston examines our tenuous future by focusing on a young queer descendant of William Clark, who, after making the long journey west from his Connecticut home, finds himself stranded in a landscape of chain restaurants and big box stores. As he forms a bond with a local kindred spirit, the truth about life in the great American frontier comes into stark relief.

“Since moving to California, I’ve been eagerto work with the folks over at Diversionary and I am so glad to have been invited to work on such a powerful play with such a dynamic cast – thanks so much to Matt and the team for bringing me on board! Be sure to check out the audiocast, along with all of the other incredible work happening at Diversionary. They never disappoint!” – NVA Artist-in-Residence Frankie Alicea-Ford
