Karole Foreman is an award-winning stage actor, singer, and writer who lives in Los Angeles, CA. Television credits include Magnum PI, The Resident, Broke, recurring roles as Keisha Williams in Good Trouble on Freeform and Attorney Claudine Dudley in Rebel on BET. She has recently finished an encore performance as Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill at The Ebony Rep and ICT. She was nominated for a San Diego Theatre Critic’s Circle Award for her performance as Desiree Armfeldt in A Little Night Music at Cygnet Theatre. She also played Bess in Porgy and Bess at Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara. Karole is currently directing a devised production at UC Irvine with graduate composing student Leslie Wickham. The show is called The Jubilee and Me: Songs I Never Got to Sing. It will be a limited streaming event fall of 2020 on the UCI School of Drama website. She was also invited to be an Artist in Residence at New Musicals, Inc and to head up their new initiative for black artists writing for Musical Theatre. The program is called AMPLIFY at NMI. Karole also another artist in residency with Noise Now at A Noise Within to workshop her new urban opera Rule My World, in 2021. The show is a modern retelling of Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra. Her children’s musical, Buddy’s Big Day Out was co-produced by The Children’s Theatre of Long Beach. It was produced over two summers 2018 and 2019.
