Last Friday morning on a cool clear day, a crowd gathered at the corner of Hanes Place and Main Street in front of Urbn Pizza. There were city trucks and people all watching at the arrival of the Alley Cat, the newest of Vista’s art pieces. Alley Cat was designed by Randall Art Ranch and Sterling Gardens, a local business in Vista.
About Randall Art Ranch and Sterling Gardens.…A husband and wife team of Visionary Artists. They consider themselves “Visionary Artists”, because they are self taught and their art is spontaneous and reflects what is going on in their minds and life at that time. They try to drown out the loud roar of society’s demand for compliance while listening to the inner voice of the soul to gain direction when creating or looking for inspiration for the creative process. Working at & not listening to others traditions , but listen to that small, soft voice within ourselves to get our inspiration. We believe that there is great power in not knowing what will or will not work when exploring the creative process. We work to adhere to the importance of not being immersed in rule based systems which tend to cloud one’s vision and stifle one’s imagination. We strive to make our artwork reflect who we are and what we want to say. We want our work to be as unique and individual as we are.
We also have a vision of a cancer free world. In order to do our part to help our world achieve this vision we pledge to donate 10% of every sale to THE BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION in honor of our family members Carol Simpson and Pamela Simpson Green.,.Breast Cancer Survivors. We hope that our donations will help more people be survivors.
We are members of The Off Track Gallery in Encinitas (San Dieguito Art Guild ), Art Beat On Main Street in Vista, and The Vista Art Foundation. We strive to support the Arts and fellow artists through our FaceBook Page Randall Art Ranch and Sterling Gardens.
