
Vista, CA –The Vista’s American Legion Post 365 Chili Cook-Off, on Saturday, September 17th. 16 Cookers participated in the cook-off.

Winners for the Chili Cook-Off are:
1st Chuck Giacalone, AKA Chop 460
2nd Mandy Sakemi
3rd Andrea Drews
4th Cheryl & Jack Bohm
Also at the Chili cook-off the Vista Boys and Girls Club were given 10 youth bicycles generously donated by Bishop Fox.

The American Legion membership is for Veterans and Veteran families, however, our community events and kitchen is open to the public. We serve meals every evening Monday-Friday 4-7pm, Saturday 12-3pm & Sunday breakfast 8:30-11:00, our weekly menu can be found on our web page at Vistaposts.org.
In addition we have multiple member events including bunco, Texas holdem’, game night, international wine tasting event, sip & paint evening, comedy club show, Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter Pet drive, Halloween Party, Marine Corp birthday celebration & white elephant Christmas party.
Alvin Dunn Myo American Legion is a growing post and we welcome the public to stop by our post to learn about potential membership eligibility. In addition to the American Legion Veteran status there is also membership eligibility for family members. Our post is active as we share accommodations and comadarier with the VFW 7041, American Legion Auxiliary, American Legion Riders & Sons of the American Legion (SAL).
