Marie: I eat pretty much healthy, but I seem to have so much inflammation and bloating all the time. What foods cause that? 

Megan: Realistically if you are eating healthy, my guess could be artificial sweeteners or food additives. Refined carbohydrates, fried foods, foods high in trans fats and alcohol are big inflammation culprits. Some meats are also processed, especially red ones. Think of beef jerky. Some people feel bloat from certain oils, even vegetable oil. That is because of omega-6’s. If none of these are part of your diet, seek the help of a registered dietician who may be able to pin-point what foods are triggers for you and what foods you should focus on eating.
