Tina: My trainer says your core needs to be stronger. Why do they say having a strong core is so important?
Megan: It is true. Strong core supports better posture which helps prevent back pain and injuries. Balance improves and stability improves which would help with better form during movement patterns such as running. That too would help prevent injuries. Your core actually protects your organs under that wall of abs, so think about a stronger shield to anything that could happen. It takes time to build and seeing a six pack isn’t the only indication that is stronger because there are abs under that layer of skin and fat. Be patient and eat well.
