Ray: With covid, everyone stares at you when you cough; but doesn’t always mean someone is sick right?
Megan: You are correct. Coughing can be caused by swallowing food or a drink incorrectly, air/dust/allergies, post nasal drip, an itch or scratch in the throat, or just having a dry throat. Coughing doesn’t automatically equate to a cold, but, if you cover your mouth with your hand or fist, yes, germs are still spread in the air and on you from covering what has come out of your mouth. Washing hands is always the go to for keeping safe from germs, even if they are not cold related.
