Jenny: I seem to get weird tingly feelings in my fingers from time to time. My sister says it’s because I have poor circulation. What does that mean?
Megan: Having numb fingers and toes, having really cold hands and feet, having that tingly or the numbness in fingers and toes, and having swelling in hands and feet, are all signs of poor circulation. Blood is not being effectively pumped to all of your body parts. Diabetes, atherosclerosis, obesity, and/or using tobacco products, can all be possible causes for poor blood flow from the circulatory system. Speak with your doctor and address this. If you are unaware of any of these health conditions that could be causing the feelings in your fingers, then you need to seek medical attention.
