Charles -I went to the doctor for chronic knee pain that is interrupting my exercise routine. Come to found out, I have arthritis. Can arthritis be cured?
Megan – Arthritis is an inflammatory condition of a joint or joints that causes pain and discomfort. Osteoporosis is the most common type that happens over time and involves cartilage that cushions the joints to be worn down and diminished. Unfortunately you cannot reverse arthritis but you can treat the condition with medications, exercise/physical therapy, cortisone shots, some have tried stem cells, or even surgery. Talking to a doctor about the particular best option for you would be advisable. Ageing has its expiration issues, but managing pain and living pain free is very important.
