Marie Waldron, State Assemblymember — National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes the partnership between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve. This week, residents in several cities throughout our district had the opportunity to meet the men and women behind the badge and the Crime Prevention Specialists that work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.
Team Waldron District Office staff participated in National Night Out events in the district this week to pay tribute to the sponsors and vendors and presented Certificates of Recognition for their support & contribution to community engagement with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department and police departments throughout our district.
We know our entire district thanks police officers in our district for their courage in every situation and we recommit ourselves to supporting their mission of keeping the people of California safe. As your Representative, I always listen to those who are tasked with enforcing the laws we pass in the Capitol. Their input is invaluable and we must fully fund and equip our first responders with the best tools and training available so they can continue to protect our lives and our livelihoods.
Sincerely,
Marie Waldron, Assemblymember, 75th District
