A Fantasy of Light and Cheer at CCAE with Northern Lights and Winter Wonderland
Escondido, CA (November, 2021) – It’s starting to feel like the holidays at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (CCAE)! The 3rd Annual Northern Lights, running November 27 through January 3, will transform CCAE into a magical winter wonderland holiday fantasy of light designed by Peace Family Light Show. From 5pm – 9pm, visitors will be able to walk around the Center’s 12-acre campus and enjoy tunnels of twinkling lights, giant LED Christmas trees, Platform 9¾-themed light extravaganza at the historical train depot, and light shows with synchronized music in the Lyric Courtyard and Center Theater Courtyard.
A countdown lighting ceremony for Northern Lights will take place on Saturday, November 27 at 6:30pm in the Lyric Courtyard. Hot beverages and cookies will be available for purchase to enjoy while watching the light show. Event is FREE to attend.
Northern Lights provides the perfect setting for visitors to enjoy our 8th Annual Winter Wonderland Festival Saturday, December 4, 11 and 18 from 3pm – 8pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to play in real snow, enjoy holiday-themed drinks and treats at Santa’s Corner Café, holiday crafting activities led by professional teaching artists and browse for gifts from local artisans curated by The Movement Brand.
