Get ready to dance and vibe with local DJ Mixter Maize followed by San Diego’s own Reggae Cumbia sensations, SM Familia. SM Familia has slowly become one of San Diego’s premiere Roots Reggae backing bands for many legendary Jamaican artists like Sister Nancy, Michael Palmer, Eek a Mouse, and more. This collective is brought together by El Gato and are blazing the trail to put more Latin flavor into the local reggae scene.

 DJ and music enthusiast, Mixter Maize is an Escondido local performing at the Center for his third time! Having spent many years playing at Latin parties, Mixter Maize has had a lot of time to develop his unique sound. For him, it’s all about mood and dance floor energy so don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.
