If you or someone you care for is dealing with a chronic condition, this workshop is for you! Sessions support the self-management of ongoing health conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, lung disease and cancer.

Photo Scanner Demo Thursday, Sept. 28, 3 – 4 p.m.
Do you have old negatives, photos and slides you would like to digitize? Register for this free demo on how to use the Epson V850 scanner and software. Staff will show you how to reserve the scanner for future dates so you can scan your memories to digital format.

Digital Conversion Demo: VHS tapes, Super 8 and more!
Saturday, Sept. 30, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Register for this free demo and learn how to convert your old VHS tapes, Super 8, mini DV tapes, 8 mm reels and Hi-8 tapes to .mp4 files using various equipment and software. Staff will show you how to reserve the equipment for future dates so you can digitize your memories at your convenience.

Friends of the Carlsbad Library: Back-to-School Sale Sept. 9 – 30
Children’s materials and teacher resources are on sale at the Dove and Cole Friends Bookstores during regular bookstore hours.
Select from a wide range of books and videos covering preschool through Young Adult. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers to build classroom libraries. Most items are Buy One, Get One Free. Bookstore Boutique materials are not included.
