San Marcos Community Center Main Hall 3 CIvic Center Drive, San Marcos, CA – Wednesday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m.
The City of San Marcos is hosting an upcoming park design workshop to gather input on the design of a proposed 1.2 acre public park.

The proposed park will be a redevelopment of an existing commercial property located at 1020 W. San Marcos Blvd. (“Old California Restaurant Row”) with a mixed-use development consisting of 202 residential condominium units, 10,400 square feet of commercial space, an approximate 1.2 acre park site, and street improvements to W. San Marcos Boulevard along the project frontage between S. Las Posas Road and Via Vera Cruz.
Purpose — The workshop is intended to provide the public an overview of the proposed public park and gather input on the park design. A future separate public workshop will be conducted on the proposed development project and a notice will be provided once it is scheduled.
As adjacent property owners, it is important to have your input on the proposed public park. No official decisions will be made during this meeting. The City and developer will use information from the discussion to determine how to proceed with the project. Please see the following City website for further information.
