Agenda Items for Council Meeting, May 24
The agenda for the next Council meeting includes a public hearing for a street vacation at 165 Eucalyptus Drive and a discussion on the City’s Homeless Strategic Plan Update.

Emerald Drive Corridor Community Workshop
Join us for the Emerald Drive Corridor Community Workshop, on May 25 from 6 pm – 8 pm in the Council Chambers. With your help, we can make Emerald Drive a safer, more enjoyable corridor.

Free Senior Wellness Fair, May 25
The McClellan Senior Center invites you to join its celebration of seniors on May 25, 9 am – 1 pm which includes representatives from local agencies as well as entertainment and lunch.

Splash Into Summer at The Wave Waterpark
The Wave Waterpark opens Saturday, May 28 for the summer season. Passes and single tickets are available online or at the waterpark. Splash into summer at the Wave!

Congratulations New Vista Hall of Fame Inductees
Congratulations to recent inductees into the Vista Hall of Fame, including Parks & Recreation Commissioner Norm Halus (pictured). The ceremony took play May 14 and the City thanks these residents for their public service!

Downtown May 29
The Strawberry Festival is Sunday, May 29 from 8 am – 6 pm. There will be vendors, food, 5k, kids runs, entertainment, and more! Stop by the City booth to say “hi” and pick up give-a-ways!

Holiday Closures & Trash Service
The City of Vista offices and Vista Library are closed Monday, May 30 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The residential trash and recycling collection is delayed one day that week.
