City’s Homeless Response Plan Gets Recognition The City received recognition for its Homeless Response Plan from the International City/County Management Association. The plan serves as a roadmap to guide and coordinate efforts to prevent and address homelessness in Vista. |

Council Meetings Resume in August The City Council’s July break is over, and the next council meeting is on August 9 at 5:30 pm. The meetings are open to in-person participation and will be broadcast live on the City’s YouTube channel. |

Cool Zone Options for Warm Weather Vista has two “Cool Zone” options for those who need cooling comfort during warm weather. The McClellan Senior Center and the Vista Library are Vista’s designated locations for warm weather relief. |

Vista Tech Company Develops Ocean Robotics The Vista-based company, SeaTrec is developing energy harvesting and robotics technologies to help improve how much we know about the ocean, and just as importantly, how we capture the data. |

New Covid-19 Vaccine Available for Adults San Diego County adults looking for a more traditional vaccine against COVID-19 can now get Novavax, County Public Health Officials announced. Everyone 6 months and older can get COVID-19 vaccines at no cost. |
