Update on Pala Vista Park Construction

Construction of the new Pala Vista Park, at Pala Vista and Civic Center Drive, is well underway with utility undergrounding work nearing completion. The shade sails, and playground equipment for young and older children, are expected to arrive in November. Read More

Register for the Annual Coastal Cleanup Day

Vista is taking part in San Diego’s Coastal Cleanup Day on September 17 from 9 am to noon. Registration opens September 1 and the Vista site is north of Hacienda Drive at the Buena Vista Creek Trail. Volunteer to keep Vista clean and beautiful! Read More

City Awarded Grant to Test Firefighters for Skin Cancer

The City received a $10,090 FEMA grant to fund skin cancer testing and screening for Vista firefighters. Skin cancer is among the cancers most prevalent in firefighting and early detection is essential in preventing deaths and disabilities.

Labor Day Holiday Closures and Service Update

City of Vista offices and the Vista Library will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Trash collections during the week will be delayed by one day.
