City Awarded Grant to Test Firefighters for Skin Cancer

The City received a $10,090 FEMA grant to fund skin cancer testing and screening for Vista firefighters. Skin cancer is among the cancers most prevalent in firefighting and early detection is essential in preventing deaths and disabilities.
Labor Day Holiday Closures and Service Update

City of Vista offices and the Vista Library will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Trash collections during the week will be delayed by one day.
