
Labor Day Service Schedule
The Civic Center will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 4.
EDCO will not perform residential curbside collection services, and all buyback centers and customer service offices will be closed on Sept. 4. As a result, residential curbside collection will be delayed by one day all week. Commercial businesses’ waste and recycling collection services will be unaffected by the holiday and provided on the regularly scheduled service day. EDCO’s public disposal sites will remain open on Monday, Sept. 4.
The Vista News Center update will return on Sept. 11.
Cool Zone Information
With high temperatures expected this week, a reminder that Vista has two Cool Zones that welcome all who need a cool respite from the hot weather. Vista Cool Zone information:
- The McClellan Senior Center, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive, is open weekdays from 8 am to 3:30 pm.
- The Vista Library, 700 Eucalyptus Avenue, is open various hours which you can access here.
Elder Fraud Workshop

Cannabis Equity Assessment
