Cannabis Equity Program Virtual Community Meeting
The City is conducting a Cannabis Equity Program Virtual Meeting on Zoom on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 6 pm. The City of Vista is in the beginning stages of developing a local cannabis equity program designed to remove barriers to entry into the legal cannabis industry for individuals and communities that have been impacted by cannabis prohibition and the War on Drugs. The City, in collaboration with SCI Consulting Group, has been working on drafting a Cannabis Equity Assessment that will inform the development of the City’s Cannabis Equity Program. At this community meeting, we will provide an update on the Cannabis Equity Assessment and seek your input and feedback. We want to hear your ideas and suggestions on how we can create a truly equitable program that is responsive to our community’s needs. REGISTER FOR MEETING HERE
