City Seeking Applications for Vacancies on Senior Citizens Affairs Commission & CVBID Advisory Board
The City of Vista is seeking applications to fill vacancies on the Senior Citizens Affairs Commission and the Central Vista Business Improvement District Advisory Board. Both terms end June 30, 2017. Applications can be downloaded via the City website or picked up at the City Clerk’s Office on the second floor of the Civic Center. The applications deadline is July 5, 2016.
Regular appointments are made each year in June, with terms beginning July 1. Occasionally, unscheduled vacancies occur during the year and additional appointments are made at that time. Except for the Planning Commission, all members are appointed by the Mayor with the confirmation of the City Council. By law, members of the Planning Commission are appointed directly by the full City Council.
