“Little people with little minds jog through life in little ruts, smugly resisting all changes that could jar their little worlds.”

We are a Lodge of mightier and bigger minds, not one filled with small thoughts and plans. Having come through COVID, we are ready to step forward and trust the Lord with BIG THINGS!

We have met with all our leaders, first to assess the state of the Lodge; how it is being run, and what needs to be sharpened in order to make it better. Over time things have become rather loosely run, and gaping holes are making the operation less than what it should be.

So, we are tightening our belts, looking over the way we handle serving both Lodge members and guests, but also how to better use our fine facilities for rental contracts, like weddings and family events. With the costs of buying and serving food and beverages soaring, common sense and hard work will make the Lodge run more smoothly and more profitable.

The power of volunteerism is another key. If we all pitch in and serve each other, with good training and commitment to serve excellently, our Lodge will rise up to new levels, and I can hardly wait!

Change can be challenging and at times threatening, but good change, good stewardship, and good teamwork lead us out of mediocrity to excellence and real freedom. See ya’ at the Lodge.
