Hello Members,

I have asked my friend and our Esteemed Leading Knight, Jim Booth, to write a few words on what he is working on and how you can help.

My name is James Booth. I am the Esteemed Leading Knight at the Vista Elks Lodge #1968. Part of my responsibilities is to oversee the Boy Scouts and a variety of youth activities such as scholarships, Americanism, essay contests, and youth recognition.
Youth Activities I am looking for volunteers who have worked with people in any of these areas or activities that can help me to organize in getting these programs up and running. Boy Scouts We are willing to have the Boy Scouts do some of their practicing and/or meetings at our Lodge. I am looking for a volunteer who has experience working with the Scouts or knows of anyone who has. You can contact me through any of the ways stated above.
