Hi friends,

El Cajon Lodge #1812 is asking us to supply a trunk load of candy to give away to kids for Halloween. It is advertised as “Trunk or Treat.” For those of you who haven’t heard of it, a Trunk or Treat is an organized alternative to trick-or-treating where candy is given to children from decorated cars in a parking lot.

For the officers of Vista Elks, and all other members who wish to donate:
Please bring two or three bags or boxes of candy to our Thursday night meeting. I will arrange to transport it to El Cajon.

Event Date:
Sunday, October 23rd, 2-5 pm at El Cajon Lodge
They offer a carrot contest: the lodge with the best decoration can win $300 for our lodge CHEMPI donations. Let’s give it a go!
