Monday Motivation
“For Christmas is tradition time
Traditions that recall
The precious memories down the years,

The sameness of them all.” – Helen Lowrie Marshall

What’s your favorite Christmas tradition, either now or in past years?  Reply back and let me know. I’ll share a few of them in a later email.

Front Door Card Reader
The House Committee is seeking to have better controls over the access and egress of our Lodge when there is no Greeter present.  We have a front door card reader and buzzer at the glass double doors but we have not been using them as consistently as we should.

Beginning this week, you can expect the front double doors to require either your membership card for entry or the ringing of the door buzzer.  Per Grand Lodge Statues and our Local Lodge Bylaws, your guests will need to stay in the waiting area until you come and sign them in at the Greeter’s desk.

As a private members-only facility, this level of control is necessary.  We appreciate your understanding.

FYI… We have Greeters staffing the doors and checking membership cards on Wednesday and Friday nights.

Tuesday Dinner
Tomorrow night’s dinner is the popular Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich served with Cole Slaw and chips for just $10.  Join us and listen to the live mi=usic of Restless Natives.

Dinner is served at 5pm.

Tamales – Get Your Orders In Today
If you haven’t ordered your Tamales yet, you’re about out of time. Vera and her crew began making them today.  You need to get your orders in today or tomorrow by 2pm.  Don’t miss out!

Tamales will be sold in 6-packs. No special order or mixed packs. Beef with Red Sauce $18 per pack
Pork or Chicken with Red Sauce $16 per pack
Vegetarian Jalapeño w/Monterey Jack Cheese $16 per packNew Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve is filling up faster now that the last-minute planners are signing up.  You need to RSVP right away if you want to be a part of this double party… Two Bands, Two NYE Celebrations (East and West Coast), One continuous party, and followed by Breakfast Burritos at 12:30am.

For early diners, dinner will begin being served at 5:30pm.  For the late seating partiers, your buffet will be available any time from 9pm on.

Don’t forget, for those who aren’t interested in food (a concept that is completely foreign to me), we have special reversed seating for you in the Social Quarters for just $20 all night!

RSVP today by calling 760-724-1968.

Have a great week, friends!
