I was at a gathering a number of years ago where we began the meeting by sharing a blessing from our day. It was going well until this one gal had nothing to share… she couldn’t think of anything. She wasn’t upset or angry, she just couldn’t think of a single positive thing from her day.

I suppose that’s possible but I remember feeling sad for her. Even in my worst of days, I can still think of something positive, a blessing that I’m grateful for. I can’t imagine going through even one day without feeling blessed in some way.

Each day is filled with new blessings… Easter eggs of grace and mercy available for those who have the eyes to see. May your day be filled with the joy that comes with discovering each new blessing.

Tuesday Dinner
Have you been to one of our Tuesday dinners? I hear they’re going really well.

While I have yet to be able to attend I’m planning on being there tomorrow night. We’re having half a BBQ chicken with beans and rice! We’re even having a live band this week so don’t be late.

I love our new RV Park Patio! It’s always a party. The bar opens at 3pm and dinner is served at 5pm. Bring your friends, sign them in as guests, and make sure they leave with a membership application. 🙂

Bingo
Our Bingo committee has set Tuesday, September 7th as our launch date for Bingo. These are exciting times because Bingo contributes so much to our charities and those dollars go directly into our local community.

The Bingo games will run from 11am to 3pm each Tuesday… yes, DAY BINGO! No more driving home at 11pm. Have fun playing Bingo and be home in time for dinner. Better yet, hang around for our Tuesday dinners!

Our Bingo crew is still needing additional volunteers for Tuesday Bingo. You can work a half or full shift, once a month or every week… it’s up to you. If you’re available to help us part-time, please join us TOMORROW at the Lodge at our 11am meeting. We’ll be sure to bring you up to speed and ready to help.

Lodge Meeting
Our next Lodge meeting will be this coming Thursday at 7pm. Plan on joining us. I’ll be giving my report regarding Grand Lodge in Tampa last month.
