Monday Motivation
“What would you do if you weren’t afraid.” – Spencer Johnson

What a great question to ask this time of year!

Recent trends are showing that COVID has caused people to examine what they do for a living and why.  It’s called, “The Great Resignation.” The Great Resignation is an informal name for the widespread trend of a significant number of workers leaving their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The term was coined in late 2020 by Texas A&M University’s Anthony Klotz in response to two developments he said had collided like a perfect storm: growing quit rates due to burnout and other factors, and rethinking of work-life balance that followed COVID.

Courage is not found in the asking of the question, “What would you do if you weren’t afraid.”  It is found in committing to the answer.

Video Series: A Conversation With…”
Last week, I mentioned the beginning of new video series on our YouTube Channel called, “A Conversation With…”  We began the series with the always enjoyable Billy Newman.  This week I added the conversation I had with Paul Eckert.

Paul is a charter member of this lodge… 66 years!  His membership number is 38!  If you want to know how amazing that is, just look at the number on your member card for comparison.  He’s also an Honorary Life Member and a Past Exalted Ruler.

To watch either video, just click on the links below.  Don’t forget to hit the “like” button and feel free to leave a comment.  Also, if you subscribe and click on the bell icon, you will be alerted every time a new video is uploaded.
