Monday Motivation
“People who wonder if the glass is half empty or full miss the point. The glass is refillable.” – Unknown

Don’t get bogged down by details. Start with what you have and adjust as you go. If the glass isn’t full… fill it.

“Say hello to my little friend”
Grand Lodge in Tampa was a memorable experience, Hurricane Elsa and all. But it seems I brought home an unexpected “bug” from my travels that has me sheltering at home until late next week.

During my absence, Tom Smith will be leading tomorrow night’s Planning Meeting and James Leitholf will be overseeing Thursday’s Lodge Meeting and New Member Initiation. I’m thankful for their help!

The After Party
Our big experiment of having two bands of different musical styles, appealing to different demographic groups, and playing one after the other, turned out to be a success! It was a huge revenue night for the Lodge.

There was quite a crowd at The After Party with many of the late night dancers coming early for dinner. We sold 45 Prime Rib dinners… possibly a record for us! And even though I was at home recovering, I received photos and text messages showing a lively crowd having fun.

We will be having another After Party in August. I’ll see you informed.

Mock Bingo Party
Our Bingo team is putting on a “mock Bingo” tomorrow at the Lodge at 11am and we’re looking for a few players who would like to play some Bingo and help us out.

Since our Lodge is technically closed tomorrow, we ask is that players are Vista Lodge members and that they understand this is MOCK Bingo. The kitchen and bar will be closed so feel free to bring your own refreshments.

NOTE: Mock Bingo is for staff practice purposes only. THERE ARE NO ACTUAL PAYOUTS. NO MONEY WILL BE EXCHANGED AT ALL.

Planning Meeting
We are having a Lodge Planning Meeting tomorrow at 6pm in the Lodge Room to define upcoming events through March 2022. If you like party planning and would like to be a part of the process, join tomorrow at 6pm.
