EAA January 2023 Open Show – Call for Artists

The Escondido Art Association announces their show for the month of January at the Artists Gallery, 121 W. Grand Avenue, Escondido. The Theme for the show is “Discovery” and will be open to EAA members and non-members are encouraged to enter. The judge is the highly respected sculptor James E. Watts.

Entry fees will apply: Members $20 1^st entry, $5 ea. 2^nd & 3^rd; Non-members $30 1^st entry, $5 ea. 2^nd & 3^rd, Students $10 1^st entry, $5 ea. 2^nd & 3^rd.

Take-in of art will be on Saturday, January 7th from 11:00am – 4:00pm. Find more information at www.escondidoartassociation under FAQ. “Discovery” will run through Friday, February 3rd. All artwork must be picked up by Saturday, February 4th, between 11:00am-4:00pm.

Thursday, January 12th, the public is invited to attend a free artist demonstration by Sculptor James E. Watts at the Fusion Restaurant, 201 East Grand Ave., Suite A in Escondido from 2pm-4pm.

Saturday, January 14th, the Artists Gallery will host an Artist reception open to the public from 4:00pm until 6:00pmpm with a chance to meet and talk with the exhibiting artists. Refreshments will be served.
