David A. Willauer-Contributing Writer-Saturday April 23, 2022-In a high scoring Coastal Baseball League game the Broncos of Rancho Bernardo led 8-7 after 2 innings but added 2 runs in the 5th and 1 in the 6th as they defeated the Lancers of Carlsbad High by an 11-8 score.

Rancho Bernardo Trent Abel and Jehee Lee contributed with doubles Ben Lyons helped the Broncos with 3 singles and 2 runs scored. Zach Derham is the winning pitcher as he pitched 3 innings gave up 6 hits and struck out 2 batters.

Carlsbad Peter Knorr and Jaydon Boone hit home runs for the Lancers. Losing pitcher is Evan Langer as he pitched 1 inning gave up 9 hits 8 runs 8 earned and 2 walks.

Torrey Pines 10 San Marcos 5 SM: Brett Williams and JJ Moran 1 double each. Ryan Rivera 1 triple.
