Suspects Arrested

Two suspects have been identified and arrested in connection with the homicide that occurred in the City of San Marcos on January 4, 2023. One of the suspects is 15 and the other is 17 years old. Both juveniles are male.

On January 31, 2023, with the assistance of local law enforcement, the 17-year-old was located and arrested near the 4200 block of Van Buren Blvd., Riverside.

This morning, just after 7:00 a.m., the 15-year-old was arrested at his residence in the City of Oceanside. At this stage of the investigation, it appears the suspects did not know the victims; however, we believe the reason for them meeting was for the illegal sale of vape products. The motivation and circumstances are still under investigation.

Both juvenile suspects were booked into the East Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility on two counts of 187(a)PC – Murder.

Investigación de homicidios: ACTUALIZACIÓN – San Marcos

SINOPSIS DEL RESUMEN DEL INCIDENTE

Dos sospechosos han sido identificados y arrestados en relación con el homicidio ocurrido en la ciudad de San Marcos el 4 de enero de 2023. Uno de los sospechosos tiene 15 años y el otro 17 año. Ambos juveniles son hombres.

El 31 de enero de 2023, con la ayuda de la policía local, el joven de 17 años fue localizado y arrestado cerca de la cuadra 4200 de Van Buren Blvd., Riverside.

Esta mañana, justo después de las 7:00 a.m., el joven de 15 años fue arrestado en su residencia en la ciudad de Oceanside. En esta etapa de la investigación, parece que los sospechosos no conocían a las víctimas; Sin embargo, creemos que la razón por la que se reunieron fue por la venta ilegal de productos de vapeo. La motivación y las circunstancias aún están bajo investigación.

Ambos sospechosos juveniles fueron ingresados en el Centro de Detención Juvenil de East Mesa por dos cargos de 187 (a) PC – Asesinato.
