Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger David Castañeda, Ph.D., presents an evening of original music with influences from across the Americas and the Caribbean.
His repertoire is characterized by a fusion of many different traditions, reflecting his study and career performing the music of Brazil, Cuba, and the United States.
Joining David on stage are Kamau Kenyatta on keyboards, Julien Cantelm on drums, Omar Lopez on bass, Zen Dubis on piano, Tonga Ross-M’au on guitar, Patrick Paxson on flute, and Joshua Gorden on congas.
