Sacramento, CA – Senate Minority Leader Brian W. Jones (R-San Diego) and Senate Minority Caucus Chairwoman Janet Nguyen (R-Huntington Beach) issued the following statement:
“In what should have been a weekend filled with smiles and laughter for the Lunar New Year, we are now mourning a senseless tragedy.
“The California Senate Republican Caucus is praying for the families, victims, and our community. We are grateful to the swift action by first responders. We thank the multiple law enforcement agencies working to bring justice for the families.
“We remain committed to bolstering mental health services and working with our colleagues across the aisle on solutions to prevent future tragedies.”
