
Lynne Hazel Bullock was born to Percy Preston Bullock and Frances Marion Clugage on May 18, 1943 in Alameda, California. Lynne passed away peacefully May 6th, 2023 of natural causes with her daughter present and surrounded by the love of her family.
Lynne was a 1960 Alhambra High graduate, completing in three years. Lynne then combined work and college, ultimately attaining a bachelor of science degree from Cal State LA with a fifth-year teaching credential.
Lynne taught middle school in the Bonsall School District, spending many years as the art teacher and also teaching language arts and history. Lynne began teaching middle school when Bonsall had but one campus. When she retired, Bonsall had expanded to several campuses throughout the district.
Lynne was a dutiful Marine Corps wife, which involved travel to North Carolina, Okinawa, and Italy. She enjoyed traveling, visiting Mexico, Hawaii, and most of the states.
Lynne was a culture vulture and enjoyed all the arts, especially theater, dance, and paintings. She enjoyed gardening, especially proud of her night blooming cereus. Lynne developed her family genealogy back to the revolutionary war. She was also an avid reader and a life long student of history especially the Scythians and the arts. Lynne was a proud MENSAN and greatly enjoyed those activities. Lynne loved animals and had dogs and cats all her life.
Lynne found her greatest joy with her family, especially time spent with her daughter and granddaughter.
Lynne was predeceased by her parents and sister Nancy Harmon. She leaves daughter Shannon, son in law Mark Bilinski, granddaughter Serena, and Gypsy the cat, and former husband PJ Blemberg.
A private family internment will be conducted. A celebration of life is being planned. Lynne requests any expression of generosity to be directed to your favorite charity.
